The competence cluster is composed of four working groups to meet the specific demands of members from academia and industry. The working groups are expert fora in which latest relevant basic and applied scientific results are discussed. Moreover, these fora serve as a platform where R&D ideas are generated that will be converted into projects. Members also exchange current technology news and the cooperation with other sister clusters is strived.
The utilisation of waste heat generated during these biochemical and thermochemical processes shall also be a focus in the deliberations during the group meetings.

Kick-off Meeting European project NATUREEF On the 24th and 25th of February 2016, the kick-off meeting for the European cluster excellence project NATUREEF took place.
