As an internationally active cluster, biomastec is a member of: 

• ClusterCollaboration:
  This platform provides online quality information and networking support for clusters (organisations and members) aiming to improve their performance and increase their competitiveness through the stimulation of trans-national and international cooperation.

• European Cluster Excellence Initiative:
  Cluster management organizations that are benchmarked demonstrate their interest in striving for excellence. For being benchmarking, cluster management organizations are awarded with the Bronze Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI).

• BIO Deutschland:
  As the sector association of the biotechnology industry, BIO Deutschland has set itself the objective of supporting and promoting the development of an innovative economic sector based on modern biosciences. The Berlin-based association currently has 300 members.

• VBiO:
  VBiO is Germany's largest association for life sciences. It combines about 35000 members which represent individual members, life science organisations, companies and other institutions.
